Ebony Lamb
ARTIST PROFILE
Ebony Lamb is a singer-songwriter who’s a treasured part of the Kāpiti music landscape. Her evocative voice, cinematic songwriting, and vivid storytelling have seen her become a much-loved part of Aotearoa’s contemporary folk and alternative music scene.
First turning heads as the frontwoman of Eb & Sparrow, an alt-country/folk band celebrated for their warm, expansive sound and compelling live performances, the group earned a loyal following and critical praise, solidifying Ebony’s reputation as one of New Zealand’s most distinctive songwriters.
Since then, Ebony has forged a compelling solo career, has collaborated and performed with artists such as Bic Runga, Marlon Williams, and Tami Neilson, and last year she went on tour with Canadian songwriter Andy Shauf.
Ebony is also a celebrated photographer and has captured some of Aotearoa’s most well known faces.
