About Nick Granville Trio
There will be a display of guitar brilliance when Nick Granville brings his trio to play as part of the Mostly Music Soundscape Series. Nick has been a shining light on the country’s musical landscape for many years and continues to evolve as a creative force. His résumé is extensive.
Joining Nick will be Lance Phillip on drums and Rory Macartney on bass. They met while playing in the Rodger Fox Big Band and continue to perform together frequently.
Nick’s career highlights include performing at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, Liverpool’s Philharmonic Hall, Indigo at London’s O2 Arena, The Lighthouse & Typhoon in Los Angeles, and the Monterey Jazz Festival. He has also recorded in Los Angeles at United Studios (where Michael Jackson recorded Thriller), Kronos Studios, and Capitol Studios which is arguably the most famous recording studio in the world.
Nick has played with an impressive array of artists, including Lalah Hathaway, Patti Austin, Dave Weckl, Chris de Burgh, Ronan Keating, Delta Goodrem, Kurt Elling, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Wellington, The Auckland Philharmonia, the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, the Rodger Fox Big Band, Bob Mintzer, Joey DeFrancesco, Dave Dobbyn, Annie Crummer, The Lady Killers, and many more. He has also performed in productions of We Will Rock You, Mamma Mia, Wicked, Les Misérables, Hairspray, and Grease, as well as on five seasons of New Zealand’s Dancing with the Stars.

These events will take place inside at The Bond Store, Paraparaumu and are seated with general admission. As a season pass holder you will be reserved seats near the front of the audience.
The Bond Store is located at 21 Birmingham Street, Paraparaumu. It operates as The Tasting Room which serves food and beverages.
