James Stent

Kia ora! I'm James Stent, a 19 year old singer, guitarist, and songwriter from Ōtaki. I've been performing shows and gigs for roughly 7 years now. In my live sets, I draw on a lot of old school pop music like Billy Joel or Queen, but I also like to play quite a few other genres. A Lot of people have compared my voice to people like Frank Sinatra and Michael Bublé and I'd tend to agree :) My sets consist of a mix of guitar accompanied singing as well as backing tracks. Whenever I play acoustic guitar for my sets I try to put some extra spice into it, as I come from a very technical electric guitar background. My performances reflect the unique blend of styles and genres I've picked up over the years; I hope you enjoy it!
